On Sunday, November 30, I was once again at the Funky Market in Tilburg — this time in the former bus depot (Fatimastraat 45), precisely between the AaBe Fabriek and the Piushaven in Tilburg. The Funky Market celebrated a special Sinterklaas & Santa Edition: a creative winter market full of art, design, craftsmanship, and unique gifts from local makers.
From 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, you could stroll among the stalls, surrounded by winter cheer and a touch of December magic.
Tilburg creativity at the Piushaven
After my first participation in the summer, I was really looking forward to being among so many inspiring makers again. The Funky Market has something special — a place where art, craftsmanship, and personal contact come together. No mass production, but stories, handiwork, and a love for creation.
Whether you came for an original gift, a dose of inspiration, or just a pleasant Sunday, the atmosphere was guaranteed to be warm and relaxed. Think: steaming hot chocolate, music, lights, and a boulevard full of creativity.
