What is KOJO Art?
KOJO Art is the brand name under which I, Jordy Koumans, paint and sell my work. From my studio in Tilburg, I create original works in acrylic and oil paint. I also offer art prints and exclusive editions.
What is the difference between an art print and an original painting?
An original painting is a unique, hand-painted artwork. You receive the only copy, including a certificate of authenticity. An art print is a high-quality reproduction of my work. Prints are more affordably priced and often available in multiple sizes. An original has the visible paint texture, layering, and details of the hand-painted work.
Do you create custom paintings?
Yes. I create commissioned works for individuals and businesses. I discuss size, colors, atmosphere, and practical requirements with you personally beforehand. A work specially made to order cannot be returned. Please contact me via the contact page to discuss the possibilities.
How does Print Club. work?
Print Club. is a subscription where you receive an exclusive, numbered, and signed art print by mail every month. The monthly edition is a surprise and is made specifically for members. Shipping typically takes place in the last week of the month. You can manage your subscription or cancel it before the next billing cycle at any time via the link in your order confirmation.
Does KOJO Art ship worldwide?
Yes, I ship worldwide. Art prints are shipped free of charge within the European Union and the United Kingdom. For other destinations, any shipping costs will be displayed during checkout. Outside the EU, local import duties, taxes, or administrative fees may apply. These costs are the responsibility of the recipient.
What is the processing time for my order?
I aim to ship art prints within 1 to 3 business days. Original artworks are usually shipped within 1 to 5 business days, as they require extra careful packaging. If an original still needs to be framed, or if a product has a different stated timeframe, processing may take longer. The estimated delivery time after shipping is 3 to 21 business days, depending on the product, destination, and carrier.
How are original paintings delivered?
An original can be collected for free from my studio in Tilburg. You can also opt for insured shipping for €25. The work will be professionally packed with corner protectors and protective material, shipped insured, and provided with Track & Trace.
Can I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. If tracking is available, it will include the Track & Trace code.
Can I return an art print?
Yes. You can register an art print for return within 14 days of receipt. The print must be returned undamaged, unaltered, and well-protected in its original packaging. The cost of return shipping is at your own expense. Register your return via the contact page or send an email to info@kojoart.nl with your name, order number, and the product you wish to return.
Can I return an original painting or an edition from Print Club.?
Original paintings, custom commissioned works, and products from Print Club. cannot be returned according to the return policy. If you want to view an original in person first or have questions about color, size, or material before purchase, please contact me so I can assist you personally.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact info@kojoart.nl within 3 business days of receipt. Include your order number and clear photos of the product and packaging. I will investigate what happened and work with you to find a suitable solution.
Can I view an artwork in person first?
Yes, by appointment at my studio in Tilburg. Please send me a message via the contact page specifying which artwork you'd like to see, and we can discuss the possibilities.
How do I choose the right artwork for my interior?
First, consider the size of the wall, the distance from where you will view the artwork, and the colors already present in the room. A large piece can be a strong focal point, while smaller works function well as a series or combination. In doubt? Send me a photo and the dimensions of your wall. I'm happy to offer personal advice.
Do you collaborate with interior designers, hospitality businesses, and companies?
Yes. I am open to collaborations with interior designers, stylists, hospitality businesses, offices, and other commercial spaces. I can advise on size, color, composition, and a suitable original or custom work. Contact me for a no-obligation discussion.
