Oxide - Original Acrylic Painting
Oxide is an original painting composed of four pigments: Vandyke brown, Mars red, yellow ochre, and titanium white. Layer upon layer, wet-on-wet, until the warmth was just right. Until it felt as if light was trapped behind the canvas.
The rectangular composition refers to the color field tradition: no narrative, no symbols. Only color, depth, and stillness. Oxide is a work that changes with the light in the room — cooler in the morning, glowing warm in the evening.
