A Green Oasis in the Middle of Concrete

Part of Central Park —the third work in the New York Districts series—is a geometric interpretation of tranquility, nature, and breathing space in the heart of Manhattan. While previous works explored bohemian energy and vertical grandeur, this piece focuses on the serenity that arises when greenery and stone meet.

The Color Palette

For this work, I chose a palette that reflects natural serenity and diversity: rich browns, soft yellows, and blues, interspersed with deep grays and blacks, and finished with warm beige. The colors capture the transitions from earth to sky, from shadow to light—the essence of a stroll through greenery in the heart of the city.

Technique & Materials

Painted with high-quality acrylic paint on canvas, layer by layer, meticulously built up for clean, geometric lines. The process takes two to five weeks per piece, with each layer carefully applied and dried.
