Vertical Grandeur in Geometric Form
The second work in the New York Districts series—a geometric interpretation of ambition, vertical architecture, and the iconic skyline that defines Manhattan. This work explores the contrasts between human scale and monumental high-rise buildings.
The Color Palette
For this work, I chose a palette that reflects the vertical dynamics and urban energy: powerful grays, clean black lines, intersected with warm beige accents, and finished with subtle blue hues. The colors capture the transitions from street level to skyscraper, from shadow to light—the essence of looking up in the heart of the city.
Technique & Materials
Painted with high-quality acrylic paint on canvas, layer by layer, meticulously built up for clean, geometric lines. The process takes two to five weeks per piece, with each layer carefully applied and dried.
Dimensions & Frame
- Size: 50×60 cm
- Material: Acrylic paint on canvas
- Frame: No frame
