The first work in the New York Districts series—a geometric interpretation of creative freedom, artistic expression, and the characteristic energy of Soho, an iconic Manhattan district. This work explores the contrasts between industrial heritage and contemporary creativity.

The Color Palette

For this piece, I chose a palette that reflects Soho's artistic diversity and urban texture: warm earth tones, bold accents, interspersed with industrial grays, and finished with soft beige. The colors capture the transitions from raw to refined, from vintage to contemporary—the essence of a stroll through Soho's artistic streets.

Technique & Materials

Painted with high-quality acrylic paint on canvas, layer by layer, meticulously built up for clean, geometric lines. The process takes two to five weeks per piece, with each layer carefully applied and dried.
